Description
D-Link DGS-1210-52MP Managed Switch
The D-Link DGS-1210-52MP Switch integrates advanced management and security functions to provide a scalable solution for business environments. This hardware features 48 10/100/1000BASE-T ports and 4 Gigabit SFP ports for high-speed fiber connectivity. It supports the IEEE 802.3at PoE+ standard across all copper ports. Consequently, it delivers up to 30W of power per port within a total 370W power budget. The architecture utilizes a fan-cooled design to maintain thermal stability during high-load operations. Network administrators can utilize the Web UI or the D-Link Network Assistant for rapid deployment. Therefore, this hardware serves as a robust foundation for IP surveillance, VoIP, and wireless access point deployments.
Key Features
High-Density PoE Delivery
The unit provides 370 Watts of total power to support multiple high-draw devices such as PTZ cameras and 802.11ax access points.Advanced Layer 2 Management
- Supports 802.1Q VLAN tagging for secure network segmentation.
- Includes IGMP Snooping to optimize multicast traffic performance for video streaming.
- Features Link Aggregation (LACP) to increase uplink bandwidth and provide redundancy.
- Implements Spanning Tree Protocol (STP, RSTP, MSTP) to prevent network loops.
Enterprise Security Suite
- Access Control Lists (ACLs) permit or deny traffic based on MAC or IP addresses.
- D-Link Safeguard Engine protects the CPU from broadcast/multicast/unicast flooding.
- ARP Spoofing Prevention protects the network from man-in-the-middle attacks.
Green Technology Integration
This device incorporates IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet to reduce power consumption by powering down inactive ports automatically.
