Camera Signal and Power Interface for CCTV Installations

The CAM CONNECT provides a direct interface between surveillance cameras and coaxial cabling runs. It combines a BNC video terminal with a screw-terminal DC power pair in a single inline module. Technicians use it to terminate camera drops without separate video and power connectors.

The BNC port accepts standard 75-ohm coaxial cable and mates with male BNC plugs on camera pigtails or DVR inputs. The DC side exposes two screw terminals for 12 V DC or 24 V AC power pairs. A moulded ABS housing insulates the conductors and strain-relieves both cable entries.

The module measures 45 × 22 × 18 mm and weighs 28 g. It operates across -10°C to +55°C and suits indoor ceiling voids, back boxes and camera housings. The screw terminals accept 18–24 AWG conductors, and the BNC centre pin and shield contact use gold-plated brass.
