Horizontal Rackmount Power Distribution for Server Cabinets
The 6-Way Aluminium PDU distributes a single 13 A UK mains feed to six BS1363 outlets inside a 19-inch rack. It mounts horizontally in 1U of cabinet space and uses an aluminium alloy body for heat dissipation and mechanical rigidity.
Each outlet accepts a standard UK three-pin plug, so the unit feeds servers, switches, and test equipment without IEC adapters. The 13 A input rating supports a maximum load of 3250 W at 250 V AC, and the moulded plug is rated to BS 1363.
The 483 mm front panel aligns with standard 19-inch rack rails, and the 45 mm profile clears cable management arms. A 1.8 m input lead reaches a rear-mounted strip or wall outlet. The aluminium extrusion shields the internal busbar in dense installations.
