Description
Switching Supply for 24-Volt Equipment
The 24V 2A power adapter converts mains AC into a regulated 24 V DC rail at 48 W. It accepts 100-240 V input at 50/60 Hz, so the same unit runs on UK, EU and US supplies. A 3-pin IEC inlet with earth terminal grounds the chassis.
The output stage holds 24 V at 2 A continuous with ripple and noise below 200 mV peak-to-peak. A fixed 5.5 x 2.1 mm barrel plug carries positive-centre polarity. The 1.2 m output lead uses 24 AWG conductors and reaches desk or wall-mounted equipment.
Protection covers over-voltage, over-current and short circuit with auto-restart after fault removal. The ABS housing measures 90 x 50 x 30 mm and weighs 188 g. Operating range spans 0 °C to 40 °C at full load, and efficiency meets MEPS level V.
