Four built-in PoE ports deliver power and data to compatible Dahua IP cameras over standard Cat5e or Cat6 cabling. A single SATA bay accepts hard drives up to 8 TB, giving integrators flexible retention planning based on resolution, frame rate, and compression settings. Dual video outputs via HDMI and VGA connect to local monitors for on-site live view and playback without requiring a separate workstation.
Remote operators access live and recorded footage through Dahua DMSS mobile apps and Smart PSS desktop clients. Two USB ports support mouse and keyboard input for local configuration, plus external backup drives for clip export during incident investigations.
