Description
TP-Link EAP670
The TP-Link EAP670 WiFi 6 access point provides high-performance wireless connectivity for enterprise-grade environments. This ceiling-mounted unit utilizes the 802.11ax standard to deliver an aggregate throughput of 5378 Mbps. It features a 5 GHz band capable of 4804 Mbps and a 2.4 GHz band reaching 574 Mbps. This hardware addresses the requirements of high-density scenarios like offices, schools, and retail spaces. The integration of a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port ensures that wired backhaul does not bottleneck wireless performance.
Key Features
Multi-Gigabit Wired Uplink
The 2.5 Gbps RJ45 port provides high-speed data transfer to support the full capacity of the wireless radio.Advanced RF Management
- Band Steering automatically moves dual-band devices to the wider 5 GHz frequency.
- Airtime Fairness improves network efficiency by limiting the over-occupation of slower clients.
- Load Balancing ensures even distribution of users across multiple access points.
Omada SDN Integration
Centralized management allows for zero-touch provisioning and cloud-based monitoring across multiple sites.High-Efficiency Wireless Performance
- HE160 technology doubles the data at peak transmission times on a single stream.
- OFDMA allows multiple clients to share one transmission stream for reduced latency.
- Target Wake Time schedules transmission periods to conserve client battery life.
Flexible Power Options
Support for 802.3at PoE+ and standard 12V DC power inputs simplifies installation in diverse physical layouts.

Why Choose TP-Link EAP670
The AX5400 platform supports high-bandwidth applications including 4K video streaming and large file transfers.
A 2.5G uplink removes the 1 Gbps barrier common in older generation networking hardware.
Omada compatibility provides a unified interface for managing switches, gateways, and wireless nodes.
Additionally, the 160 MHz channel support significantly increases peak data rates for compatible mobile devices.
Seamless roaming ensures that VOIP calls and data sessions maintain connectivity as users move between coverage zones.

We installed two of these EAP670s in our Westlands office last month. The speed is actually serious—even with 40+ people on the floor, there’s no lagging during Teams calls. I like that it supports the Omada controller, makes management very easy from my phone. Delivery to our building was also quite fast.

Good upgrade from the older AC models. The range covers our entire lounge area plus the outdoor patio. It’s a bit larger than I expected physically, but the WiFi 6 performance is worth it. Setup was straightforward using the Omada app.

This AX5400 is a beast. Finally getting the full speeds of my fiber link over wireless without any drops.

Upgraded our setup with this EAP670 and the results are impressive. The 160MHz channel width is the real deal—I’m finally seeing near-gigabit speeds over wireless on my laptop. Setup via the Omada SDN was seamless as usual. It’s a bit of an investment, but if you have many users or heavy traffic, it’s worth every shilling. Just make sure you have a PoE+ switch because this one needs a bit more power than the basic entry-level APs.

Top tier performance. The AX5400 speeds are legit for a busy office setup. Very stable.

The unit is a bit bulky on the ceiling compared to the older WiFi 5 models, but the coverage is excellent. Used it to solve signal issues in a large open-plan office in Upper Hill. WiFi 6 makes a huge difference when everyone is on Zoom at the same time. Highly recommended for high-density areas.
