CRS328 24-Port PoE Switch
The MikroTik CRS328-24P RM model (CRS328-24P-4S+RM) is a 1RU Cloud Router Switch with 24 Gigabit PoE copper ports and four 10G SFP+ cages. It is a common leaf for APs and cameras when 48 ports are not required. Dual-boot RouterOS and SwOS match other CRS rack units. This SKU is not the CRS328-4C-20S fibre-heavy model. PoE class and total watts follow the published datasheet for this SKU.
Additionally, four 10G uplinks give more aggregation than a single SFP cage. Therefore you can dual-home to a core and still have ports for a NAS or hypervisor. However, 24 PoE ports still share one PSU budget. Consequently, add nameplate watts of APs (including USB and heater if outdoor) before filling the row. Hardware offload depends on the RouterOS version and the switch chip.

Why Choose This 24-Port PoE Leaf
24 PoE drops plus four 10G cages in one RU.
Smaller and cooler than a 48-port CRS354 when 24 is enough.
RouterOS available if the leaf must also route.
SwOS available for teams that want a simpler UI.
Additionally, pin a long-term RouterOS train in production. Therefore export the config before upgrades. However, cheap SFP+ modules can fail DOM or link. Consequently, qualify optics. Keep this SKU off BOMs that need 48 ports or 40G QSFP+; those belong on CRS354. Ground the rack, use a dedicated PDU outlet, and leave 1RU of airflow above the chassis when PoE load is high. Document which SFP+ cages are uplinks versus server DACs so the next engineer does not steal a core link during a swap.
