Description
OEM VGA Extender
The OEM VGA Signal Extender facilitates long-range video transmission over standard network cabling. It bridges the gap between source devices and remote displays up to 60 meters away. This hardware solution utilizes Category 5e or 6 cables to maintain signal integrity. The system consists of a local transmitter and a remote receiver. It converts analog VGA signals into differential signals for twisted-pair transport. This method significantly reduces the bulk and cost associated with long-distance VGA cables. It also minimizes signal degradation over extended runs.
Key Features
Extended Range Capacity
The hardware maintains stable video transmission up to a maximum distance of 60 meters using Cat6 Ethernet media.Resolution Support
- Supports standard VGA resolutions up to 1920 x 1080.
- Compatible with SVGA, XGA, and WUXGA display standards.
- Maintains a 60Hz refresh rate for flicker-free output.
Physical Construction
Both units feature a durable metal chassis to provide electromagnetic shielding and efficient heat dissipation during continuous operation.
The conversion process involves an internal chipset that balances the RGBHV signal. This balancing prevents cross-talk between the twisted pairs within the network cable. The receiver unit captures the differential signal and reconstructs it for the display device. This system operates independently of any operating system. It requires no software drivers or complex configuration. Integrated mounting holes on the chassis allow for secure installation in server racks or behind displays. The active circuitry requires external power to ensure signal strength over the full 60-meter span. Network engineers find this tool effective for digital signage and security monitoring. It simplifies cable management in environments with pre-existing network infrastructure. High-quality copper cabling ensures the best performance and prevents ghosting.

Why Choose OEM VGA Extender
The video relay kit eliminates the need for expensive and heavy proprietary VGA cables over long distances.
Standard RJ45 termination allows for easy routing through conduits and walls during site installation.
Active signal amplification ensures that remote monitors receive a clear image without the blurring typical of passive adapters.

It works okay, but be careful with the quality of the LAN cable you use. With cheap CCA cables, the image gets a bit blurry at 60m. Once we switched to pure copper Cat6, it cleared up. It’s a decent budget solution for Nairobi offices.

Used these for our church screens. The signal is stable. It’s much cheaper than buying those thick 30m VGA cables which are hard to pull through conduits. Just wish it came with the short VGA patch cords, but otherwise, it’s a great buy.

We needed to mount a projector in our boardroom but the distance was too much for a standard VGA cable. Used this extender with a Cat6 cable and the picture is clear at 1080p without any flickering. It’s a lifesaver for long runs where you want to save on cost but keep the quality. Delivery to Westlands was also very fast.

Bought this for a CCTV monitor setup in a shop. It works well over about 40 meters. The build is solid metal, not cheap plastic. Just make sure you use high-quality copper Cat6 cables to get the best signal. Good value for money.

Plug and play. Does exactly what it says on the box. No issues with the signal even at 50m.
