The Apc SC/APC Pigtails provide low-loss connectivity for high-density optical distribution frames and fiber termination enclosures. These pigtails feature a factory-terminated SC connector with an Angled Physical Contact (APC) polish. The 8-degree angle on the ferrule end-face minimizes back reflections by reflecting light into the fiber cladding. This geometry ensures a return loss of 60dB or higher. Single-mode OS2 fiber supports long-distance transmission across the 1310nm, 1490nm, and 1550nm wavelengths. The 1-meter length provides sufficient slack for fusion splicing within standard splice trays. Each unit utilizes a 900-micron tight buffer for enhanced mechanical protection during handling.
