The integration of Power over Ethernet (PoE) 802.3af compliance allows network engineers to deploy this unit using a single Category 5e or 6 cable for both data and power transmission. Consequently, installation costs are reduced by eliminating the requirement for localized electrical outlets at the mounting point. The device includes built-in infrared LEDs and an ICR filter to ensure clear imaging in zero-lux conditions up to a range of 5 meters.
