Yeastar O2 Expansion Card
The Yeastar O2 Module provides two Foreign Exchange Office (FXO) ports for connecting analog PSTN lines to IP PBX systems. This hardware component facilitates seamless integration between traditional telecommunications infrastructure and modern VoIP networks. IT professionals utilize this hardware to terminate CO lines directly into the PBX chassis. Consequently, the system can handle external calls through standard copper wire connections. This module supports multiple telephony appliances, including the S-Series and P-Series hardware. The daughterboard architecture allows for easy installation into available expansion slots. Therefore, administrators can scale their external trunking capacity without significant hardware overhauls.
Key Features
-
Dual FXO Port Configuration
The card features two independent RJ11 ports that support loop start signaling for reliable external analog trunk connectivity. -
Hardware Compatibility
- Compatible with Yeastar S20, S50, S100, and S300 models.
- Supports P-Series Appliance Editions and expansion boards.
- Integrates with legacy MyPBX series hardware slots.
-
Advanced Signal Processing
The internal circuitry manages echo cancellation and impedance matching to maintain voice transmission quality over legacy analog lines. -
Caller ID Support
- Supports Bellcore Type 1 and 2 standards.
- Compatible with ETSI, DTMF, and FSK signaling protocols.
- Ensures accurate inbound identification across different global regions.
Installation and Configuration
Network engineers install this component by powering down the PBX and inserting the card into the designated slot. Once the system reboots, the administrative interface automatically detects the new physical ports. Administrators can then configure trunk parameters, including dial patterns and inbound routes. This modular approach minimizes downtime during hardware upgrades. Additionally, the system allows for regional customization of frequency and cadence settings to match local telecommunications standards. The module operates efficiently within the operating temperature range of the host PBX.
