NEC IP7WW-308U Interface Board
The NEC IP7WW-308U Expansion Card provides a high-density interface solution for the NEC SL2100 communication system. This hardware module integrates three analog Central Office (CO) trunks and eight hybrid extension ports into a single slot-in unit. Consequently, IT administrators can scale system capacity without occupying multiple chassis slots. The architecture supports both legacy PSTN connectivity and internal station distribution. Furthermore, the hybrid design allows for flexible deployment of diverse terminal types across the network infrastructure.
Key Features
-
Integrated Trunk Interface
Three analog circuit ports facilitate direct connection to traditional public switched telephone network (PSTN) lines. -
Hybrid Extension Versatility
- Supports NEC digital multiline terminals for advanced feature access.
- Provides connectivity for standard single-line analog (SLT) devices.
- Automatically detects terminal type upon connection to the RJ61 interface.
-
Modular Daughterboard Support
This interface includes a dedicated mounting position for one IP7WW-008U-C1 or IP7WW-000U-C1 daughterboard. -
Power Failure Transfer
One built-in PFT circuit ensures emergency communication remains active during total power loss.
