Asenware AW-CSD311 Detector
The Asenware AW-CSD311 Smoke Detector utilizes advanced photoelectric sensing technology to provide early fire warnings in conventional fire alarm systems. This unit operates on a non-polarized 2-wire circuit, making it compatible with a wide range of industry-standard control panels. The internal sensing chamber features a specialized design that effectively minimizes dust accumulation. Consequently, the device offers high stability against false alarms caused by environmental debris. The integrated microprocessor analyzes light scattering patterns to identify combustion particles rapidly. Therefore, it ensures high sensitivity across various fire types, including slow-smoldering fires. This hardware serves as a critical component for commercial, industrial, and residential safety installations.
Key Features
-
Photoelectric Sensing Chamber
The internal sensor uses light scattering principles to detect smoke particles with high precision. -
Dual LED Status Indication
- 360-degree visibility for immediate status identification
- Green LED flash indicates normal standby operation
- Steady red LED indicates an active alarm condition
-
Wide Operating Voltage
The circuitry supports a broad range from 9VDC to 28VDC, ensuring compatibility with 12V and 24V systems.
Technical Operation
The detection mechanism relies on an infrared LED and a light-sensitive photodiode. During standby mode, the photodiode receives no light. However, when smoke enters the chamber, particles scatter the infrared beam toward the sensor. The MCU processes these signals to confirm fire conditions before triggering the alarm. Moreover, the low standby current of less than 60 microamps reduces the load on the system power supply. Additionally, the unit includes an anti-tamper locking mechanism to prevent unauthorized removal from the mounting base. Maintenance is simplified through a removable top cover, allowing for easy cleaning of the labyrinth. Regular testing ensures the photoelectric sensor maintains its calibrated sensitivity levels over time.
