The APC Smart-UPS SMC1000I-2U provides 600 Watts or 1000VA of line-interactive power protection for entry-level servers and networking equipment. This 2U rackmount unit delivers a pure sine wave output to ensure compatibility with active Power Factor Corrected (PFC) power supplies. It effectively manages voltage fluctuations through Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR). This technology scales high and low voltages to safe levels without switching to battery power. Consequently, the internal lead-acid battery maintains a higher state of health over its operational lifespan. The system operates with high efficiency in green mode to reduce utility costs and heat generation.
